During this touring adventure you will have the opportunity to discover the authentic Provence, with its vineyards, lavender fields and breathtaking scenery but also to climb the three sides of the Mont Ventoux itself!

Discovery of Provence and Drome Provençale
Welcome in Bedoin at Clos Marceau right at the bottom of the Mont Ventoux.
Time of arrival around 12pm.
Our Mont Ventoux tour will start with a briefing provided by our staff team in the Hotel yard.
Then you’ll be able to enjoy a warm up ride around Bedoin and its surrounding.
Local market every monday morning.

Distance : 35.5 km / 21.1 miles.
Elevation : 500 m / 1640.4 ft.
You’ll have two bike rides options for the day.
Both of them pass by Les Gorges de la Nesque which is one of the iconic bike ride in the area (probably my number one).
This ride will lead you to Sault and its lavender fields (Lavender festival in Sault on August 15th).

This ride will lead you to the top of the Mont Ventoux from Sault.
You’ll ride across some lavender fields and also into the Mont Ventoux Regional Park.
This Mont Ventoux ascent will be the first of three.

Elevation : 1152 m / 3779.5 ft.
Beautiful landscape over the lavender fields then you’ll enter in the Drome Provencale which is very authentic and natural.
This ride will lead you to Buis-les-Baronnies (local market every wednesday morning).

Distance : 82.7 km / 50.9 miles.
Elevation : 1220 m / 4002.6 ft.
You’ll be right on the Toulourenc Valley and you’ll be able to see one of the most specific view of the Mont Ventoux as this side is really wild and natural.
This ride will lead you to Malaucène (Local market every morning in season – main one on wednseday morning).

This ride will lead you to the top of the Mont Ventoux from Malaucène.
You’ll ride into the Mont Ventoux Regional Park and you’ll see its amazing landscape of the Drome Provençale and of the Alps.
This Mont Ventoux ascent will be the second of three.

This ride will lead you to the top of the Mont Ventoux from Bedoin.
You’ll ride into the Mont Ventoux Regional Park and also you’ll ride the most Epic Mont Ventoux climb, the #1 climb of the Tour de France, ridden by professional.
This Mont Ventoux ascent will be the last one and the more iconic one.

It’s your last day with us so if you would like more you can ride on the morning throught some hilltop village and beautiful view on les Dentelles de Montmirail otherwise you can enjoy a late breakfast and visit Bedoin.
Then we’ll say goodbye around 12pm.
Every monday morning you’ll be able to be part of the Bedoin’s market.
